I have to admit that I am sold on this coupon thing. Yesterday I saw some friends at the park and they were talking about coupons and the stores they shop at. They were trying to explain to me how it all works. My friend Mashell invited me to go with her to Albertsons (which I NEVER shop there). She showed me how this coupon thing works. We were ther TWO hours and I had so much fun!!!! On my first order I got the cereal, mayo, salad dressing, shampoo, deoderant, hair spray and Q-tips. With my coupons I clipped from sunday's paper and the Albertson's doubler coupons I had from the Albertson's ad - I only spent $23.63. On my second order I got the popcicles(2), fruit by the foot(4), peanut butter(2), cookie mixes(3), fruit snacks(2), and the bownie mixes(2) plus I had $15 in katalina's and I only spent $21.04!!! I think I have a new addiction!!!!
I was telling my kids that I may go back today and get some more cereal (and some things that are on special that I have coupons for) and Caleb asked me "Are you going to do that coupon thing again?" He went with me last night and bless his little heart - We didn't get home until 10:30 and he was so good and very tired!!!!

Good job Katie. I still can't quite make myself do it. Some day I think I might get into gear and get it done. Not now though pregnancy makes a person tired.

I'm glad you had a good experience. I spent hours the other day making up a list that included all my coupons and the Albertson's deals just to find that most everything I wanted was GONE! Not to mention the lady wouldn't let me "double" my coupon.com coupons, so I ended up buy a bunch of JUNK that I wouldn't have bought in the first place. I have yet to have another good experience.

Hey - I love the new entry. All that food looks so familiar. :)

Since you never update this you probably won't see this for a while but I thought I'd share with you how much I love watching your family run around the neighborhood and going to school. You have good kids as you already know.
